Edged in 22K gold, this underglaze blue dinner service is based on a Chinese export pattern, ca. 1730. The elegant design features a central flowered medallion, continuous collar and floral sprays.
High fire cobalt blue, first discovered in Persia, is used to decorate this delicate and effusive dinner plate. Banded in 22 carate gold and painted by hand.
